Just concluded a wonderful Zoom memorial service for my Grandmother with her friends from Africa! Was great to put faces to many of the names we've heard stories about.
All seemed to know my Grandmother as "Auntie Bev," but I only knew her as "Grandma Ducks." (She lived on a small lake in the late 80's early 90's.) While myself and her many grandchildren have wonderful memories of feeding ducks outside her porch, I was mortified to learn years later that it was discovered that bread was bad for ducks' digestion!? I think the species would forgive my Grandma for not knowing better at the time.
